Perhaps the answer is that none of these is perfect. And instead of trying to find the perfect one, just stick with one and accept its limitations.

I gave up jumping around (time, effort and cost each time I invested in the next perfect solution). The time saved helps me maintain the one system I keep ticking along albeit imperfectly.

It’s not perfect but it’s much more efficient.
