Some great ideas here but just can’t get my head around the ‘do not buy’ list which I’ve seen gaining popularity recently.

Where on earth would you start to create this list! Surely if you need something it goes on a buy list and everything else doesn’t get purchased.

I’d rather work to the rule of only purchase what I’ve identified as needing (no impulse purchases) than keep another list tracking what I don’t need. Life’s complicated enough.
